Marc Beauchemin Restaurant, an icon in the landscape of Ste-Anne-de-Sorel. With its architecture, a typical Sorel Island restaurant located on the edge of Chenal du Moine on Ile d'Embarras. An exceptional location! Free parking nearby or a boat dock is available. The dining room decor is fabulous, with its heritage photos of events from the richly storied past. Among other things, you can see posters of the famous actors Jean Coutu and Jean-Nicolas Verreault, characters from Germaine Guevremont's novel, 1957-58. So many wonderful memories. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The furniture is comfortable, the tables are shared (picnic table style), and it is important to reserve a seat. A beautiful outdoor terrace is available to enjoy the natural scenery of the islands. The cleanliness of the premises is impeccable. The service is attentive, warm, fast, and excellent. The menu is varied and impressive. Several regular or all-you-can-eat meal combinations: gibelotte, perch fillets, catfish fillets, sturgeon pieces, etc. The perch does not come from the Sorel Islands (moratorium on commercial fishing). Regardless of its origin, this fish is prepared the Ste-Anne-de-Sorel way, lightly dipped in flour and roasted to perfection in butter. A quality product, unique flavors, succulent dishes reflecting the regional terroir, freshness on the plate, and great pleasure on the palate. Bring your own wine or beer—what a great idea! An unforgettable regional gastronomic experience in an authentic setting close to nature. Congratulations to the entire team at Marc Beauchemin restaurant. Long live this beautiful tradition! Your fish gibelotte is a comforting dish with its roasted fish fillet accompaniments. Enjoy your meal.

A place to discover or rediscover! We tried their panini and they taste heavenly. We were literally surprised. Very beautiful dock for marine craft. The staff is very friendly. We recommend it to you.

Great restaurant, warm welcome and possible to come by boat. All the meals are delicious: we tasted perch, walleye, smoked sturgeon without forgetting as a starter: Spanish bread and onions that can be made into a sandwich. The desserts are also excellent. I love coming here, it’s like stepping back in time. Well done to the owner and staff. Everything is super clean

Surprising taste in the panini we are very impressed! Pickled onions are delicious The staff is super courteous Very beautiful dock to dock by boat to taste their dishes

Their Gibelotte; always so excellent! Beauchemin Trio, wow, just perfect! Bring your own wine/beer! And what about the service!

Thank you for the 5 service, the warm welcome, the unique atmosphere, and the delicious food. We loved the catfish, a first for us, and the small perch fillets. All accompanied by our favorite wine! What more can we say? Have a great season to your entire attentive team!

Everything was more than perfect. The welcome, the service, the food, the decor, the location. I had been waiting for decades for the opportunity to eat gibelotte again in Sorel, it is now crossed off my wish list but I replaced it by going there once a summer.
